To the despair of most of the people that love me, more often than not, I will not be wearing any shoes. I love the feeling of grass, sand, or even dirt on my feet. Have you ever stepped in a freshly tilled garden without your shoes, or walked in mossy woods? There’s just a settling in your soul, a feeling of delight that you are truly feeling the earth as it should be. I find that you’re far more in tune with what is around you because you have to pay attention to where you step.
